Water Ski Days eludes storms

A brief shower, not enough to end the festivities Saturday night, was the closest threatening weather came to dampening the 45th annual Water Ski Days over the past weekend.

Shade was at premium, especially on Saturday, as temperatures rose into the 90s, but none of that was enough to keep the event from being a big success.

“It was a very successful year,” Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Andrea Chapman said.

Friday night was a big night with a new lineup of entertainment.
