Well-wishers fill the shop and show floor for Heffernans’ retirement open house

Family, customers, former employees, vendors, well-wishers, elected officials, and even an old Army buddy were on hand Saturday, June 22, at Mosaic Ford in Lake City to celebrate the retirement of Tom and Marie Heffernan.
Tom purchased the dealership on the 300 block of North Lakeshore Drive in 1973 and ran it for 51 years, accompanied for much of that time by his wife, Marie. Their daughter, Brookly Heffernan, later joined the family business.
