Woman’s Club sponsors recycling presentations
The Woman’s Club of Lake City will sponsor an evening of recycling presentations at the Lake City Public Library on Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
First on the program is Willow Manceaux of Cargill, operations technician at their Blair, Neb. plant. She will be doing a Skype presentation. Manceaux is involved with Cargill’s NatureWorks, an international company that manufactures bio plastic polymers derived entirely from plant resources. This is an alternative to conventional plastic that is made from petroleum.
