WWII vet’s family donates gas grill to Veterans Plaza

Veterans Plaza, located between the Mayo Clinic Health System care center and The Bluffs of Lake City senior living, has a new gas grill, courtesy of the Richard Meincke family.
Richard Meincke, who passed away on Dec. 26, 2016, was a resident at The Bluffs of Lake City. He and his wife, Lois, who recently passed away on Sept. 12, 2017, were one of the first couples to move in to the senior living facility.
