Y-Knot Tri, Float-a-palooza bring hundreds to lakefront
The Lake City Chamber of Commerce’s Y-Knot Tri triathlon and Float-a-palooza brought people to the beach at Ohuta Park Saturday for paddling, running, riding, floating, food, prizes, and live music.
The Lake City Community Choir sang both the National Anthem and the Lake City Alma Mater at the outset of the triathlon (see related story on page 6).
The second annual event consisted of a 2.5 mile paddling portion, a 14-mile cycling portion, and a 5K running portion. Results will appear in next week’s issue.
