Youth go ‘Fishing with the Fuzz’

The Lake City Police Department held its annual Fishing with the Fuzz event on Aug. 13 at the Lake City Marina.

Children spent a few hours fishing with Lake City Police Officers and had lunch afterward. Some Minnesota Department of Natural Resources conservation officers were also on hand.

The department provided basic fishing equipment. A donation from Hearth and Home Technologies meant all participating children got a free tacklebox to keep.
