ZF Fire open house is Oct. 5
Zumbro Falls Fire Department will hold a fire safety open house on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 8 a.m. to noon.
Fire extinguisher inspections will be available, sponsored by the department and Fire Safety, U.S.A.
The American Red Cross is offering free smoke alarm installation. People can sign up at the open house or call the fire hall between 9 a.m. and noon at 507-753-2423. The fire department and Red Cross volunteers will install the alarms in homes on Saturday, Oct. 12. Recipients must live in the Zumbro Falls Fire Department response area.
