1. Why are you running for City Council?
I am running for City Council because Lake City is my town. I was raised in Mount Pleasant Township and graduated from Lincoln High in 1995. My husband and I have chosen to live here, after many years living in other places. We are raising our family here. Our kids go to school here and they love being Lake City Tigers. My grandmother lives here, the first town she’s lived in since the farm. I want this town to be all that it can be for all of us who are lucky enough to call Lake City home.
