Annual meetings, elections set for March 13 in area townships

Tuesday, March 13, is the date of the annual meeting in area townships; most are also holding elections.

In a March 1 news release, the Association of Minnesota Townships said annual township meetings are “a true form of direct democracy – allowing residents of the township to meet, voice their opinions and vote on their tax levy.”

Elections will fill supervisor terms for three years and clerks for two years.
