Another oddly parked vehicle turns out to be stolen

For the second time in less than a week, a Goodhue County Sheriff’s Deputy noticed a vehicle parked oddly in an area off Highway 61 and discovered that it had been stolen in Lake City.

On Oct. 8, a sheriff’s deputy “checked on a van parked oddly in the scenic overlook area on Hwy. 61 in Florence Twp. Determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Lake City and that a plate on the vehicle had been stolen off of a vehicle in Rochester,” the sheriff’s office said in a media report.
