Baseball: Bears beat Tigers 5-1
Lake City Tigers varsity baseball watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 5-1 loss to Byron on Monday, May 17.
Ried Bielen was credited with the victory for Byron. Bielen lasted five innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out eight.
Justin Wohlers took the loss for Lake City, lasting four innings, allowing two hits and three runs while striking out one. Owen Meyers pitched three innings in relief giving up two runs.
