Board picks Plante to once again lead Wabasha County
The Wabasha County Board of Commissioners had scheduled a work session to discuss the candidates for the County Administrator position that was to follow the regular meeting on Feb. 16, but after discussion, they re-scheduled it for the next day, Feb. 17 at 5 p.m., a convenient time for all Board members.
At the latter meeting they voted unanimously to offer the position to former Wabasha County Administrator Michael Plante. The Wabasha Herald reported that commissioners Cheryl Key and Mike Wobbe will negotiate a salary of up to $130,000 for Plante.
