Body of missing Lake City man found

Officials are still unsure exactly what caused the death of a Lake City man whose body was discovered in Florence Township.

Canadian Pacific Railway Company staff reported to the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office the discovery of a decomposed body later identified as William Jack Neeland, 62, by the railroad tracks near Ski Road.

Neeland had been reported missing to the Lake City Police Department on Sept. 30.
