Body of missing sailor recovered

The body of a Shoreview, Minn., man missing since falling from a sailboat on Lake Pepin Thursday was recovered Saturday morning.

Efforts to locate Terry Lee Woeltge, 69, began just before 5 p.m. on July 25 after a report came in that a passenger on the boat with him had witnessed him fall into the water and not resurface, according to the Wabasha County Sheriff’s office. He was not wearing a personal flotation device.

His body was recovered Saturday on the lake at around 11:30 a.m., according to a news release.
