Brian Quinn appointed to City Council
The Lake City City Council on Monday unanimously appointed Brian Quinn to the council seat vacated by Katie Novak last month.
Quinn was one of three applicants for the appointment - the others were Marco Molinari and Scott Fiege - and was the first choice of five of the six council members, as indicated by discussion before Monday’s vote.
Councilmembers cited prior experience working with Quinn, as well as his multi-year service on the city’s Ambulance Commission, including a stint as chair of that commission.
