Brigette Rol named library director

Brigette Rol is the Lake City Public Library’s new permanent director.
The Lake City City Council approved the appointment unanimously at its Monday, Dec. 13 meeting.
Rol has been the interim library director since the retirement of her predecessor, Patti Bross, earlier this year.
Before that, she was the public library’s children’s librarian.
She was one of four candidates for the post on Nov. 19, according to the council agenda.
