Citizens get a look at Highway 61 plans

People are getting a first-hand look at proposed plans for improvements along Highway 61 through Lake City and the first impression seems positive, according to City Planning Director Rob Keehn.

About 15 people attended an open house, along with city officials, Monday night to get a close look at the possibilities.

Between 30 and 40 people attended Tuesday night. A third open house session was scheduled for 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.
