City accepts dock replacement bid

Last month the Lake City City Council accepted a bid to replace a dock damaged when a tornado struck the city in September of last year.
Replacement is planned for this spring.
River City Welding submitted the low bid of $595,000 for replacement of the 300 dock.
“We had a very favorable low bid,” City Administrator Rob Keehn told the council. “River City Welding is a group we’ve worked with on docks in the past.”
