City Council awards Ohuta Park contract

The Lake City City Council awarded a construction contract for the Ohuta Park redevelopment project at a special meeting Monday, March 22.

Pember Companies submitted the lowest of three bids for the project and received the contract. Their bid was about $2.27 million. In the request for council action, city staff wrote that the company has experience with municipal projects and did Haymarket Plaza, a waterfront project in Eau Claire, Wis., that opened in 2019.
