City facing staff vacancies
Lake City City Administrator Rob Keehn updated the City Council on several city staff vacancies at the July 8 council meeting.
These included city planning and community development director (see related story), assistant public works directors, port authority executive director, a utility clerk, and positions in the city electric utility.
Reasons are all over the place, from leaving the public sector, to taking a position closer to home, to finding more money elsewhere, he said.
