City finance director Amy Hove leaving for Inver Grove Heights
Amy Hove, Lake City’s finance director since October of 2016, has resigned to become finance director for the City of Inver Grove Heights.
Her last day with Lake City is Jan. 3.
On Monday the city council approved a $14,000 contract with David Drown Associates to conduct a search for her replacement. The city used the firm when it hired Hove for the job in 2016.
Hove, in an email, indicated that finance director will continue to be an important role as the city looks at major upcoming projects.
