City to legislators: We really tie the region together

Maybe it was fitting that Lake City’s presentation Tuesday at the Lake City Yacht Club to the Minnesota House of Representatives Capital Investment Committee began a little late after a presentation on the Cannon Valley Trail ran long.
Lake City hasn’t gone after state bonding money while tens of millions of dollars in state funding have gone into projects to the north and south in recent years.
