City seeks planner for marina beach, Ohuta Park

Lake City will hire a professional planner to help decide what should become of the city’s marina beach area and an adjacent portion of Ohuta Park.

The council voted unanimously to hire a planner after hearing from 11 members of the public on the issue of plans for the park, as well as staff and one-another at a special meeting on April 1.

A subsequent motion laid out features they would ask the planners to consider including in options brought back for the council to consider.
