The City of Lake City will have a new city engineering firm in 2021.
On Dec. 14 the council approved a contract with Bolton and Menk to provide engineering services to the city.
Public Works Director Scott Jensen said the city was happy with the service provided by SEH, the city’s current engineer but decided to go in a different direction.
“City staff believes that a new firm and perspective on city engineering services will prove beneficial,” he wrote in the council agenda.
