Commissioners authorize right-of-way acquisition for County Hwy. 2 project

Wabasha County Commissioners on May 16 approved a right-of-way plat and authorized the acquisition of a right-of-way in order to make improvements on County Highway 2 from County Highway 17 to an area near Highway 63.
The right-of-way is required for the reconstruction of County Highway 2 on this segment for work being planned to begin in 2024, according to information online. The existing right-of-way is not adequate to contain the construction.
