Controversial Wabasha County highway projects advance
The annual Wabasha County Truth in Taxation meeting was held as scheduled on Dec. 11, but it was two proposed Highway projects that brought people who opposed the projects to the meeting.
All Commissioners were present, along with County Administrator Michael Plante and County Attorney Karrie Kelly. Finance Director Deb Koenig was on hand to conduct the Truth in Taxation Hearing, and County Engineer Dietrich was present for the Highway issues - the two controversial ones and a number of other highway items that were included in the consent agenda.
