Council approves re-implementation of electric supervisor position and two promotions at special meeting

Faced with the potential loss of its electric utility foreman to the private sector, a divided Lake City City Council at a special meeting Jan. 22 voted to re-implement an electric supervisor position, as well as promoting a journey-level lineworker to foreman.
Electric foreman Travis Wettern submitted his resignation Dec. 26 and was days away from leaving city employment when the council convened to consider the moves on Jan. 22.
