Council hands reins to Keehn on Outlot D

By consensus, the Lake City City Council granted City Administrator Rob Keehn authority to approach contractors that might be able to build out a section of the city that has lain dormant since 2006.

The area, known as Outlot D of Eaglewood Estates Fifth Addition, extends south from North 10th Street along Kemp Lane and ends in a cul-de-sac. Another cul-de-sac, Kemp Court, branches off from Kemp Lane.

In all, there are 22 single-family lots with a design-building width of 66 feet, according to an engineering study presented to the council.
