Council lends support to workforce housing effort

The Lake City Economic Development Authority (EDA) asked for and received the city council’s blessing Dec. 9 to explore using financial incentives to spur development of workforce housing in Lake City.
The precise definition of workforce housing is somewhat fuzzy but is basically housing that working people could afford.
