Counties plan for election disruptions

Goodhue County Finance Director Carolyn Holmsten discussed emergency election procedures with the county commissioners at their Aug. 16 meeting. She explained that during the 2016 legislative session, the secretary of state’s office was given a directive that no matter what happens, elections will be held.
