County administrator resigns abruptly
Wabasha County is looking for a new county administrator after the sudden resignation of Brian Buhmann.
Buhmann’s resignation was on the Nov. 17 Wabasha County Board meeting agenda, effective Nov. 12, the previous Thursday.
In a farewell email that day to county department heads, Buhmann wrote that it “became apparent that the board’s vision and the direction I would have liked to have taken us was not the same.”
The Graphic gave county board members and opportunity to respond, Commissioner Mike Wobbe replied:
