County assesses storm damage

Township supervisors, city administrators, and the county’s public works director gathered at Zumbrota’s City Hall on Friday morning, Oct. 14 to meet with Minnesota Homeland Security and Emergency Management Officer Donald Helgeson and Chris Nordeng, engineer specialist for Minnesota Emergency Management. The two looked over damages that had occurred in Goodhue County on Sept. 21, and determined what the various entities will receive for flood damage.
