County attorney appeals salary reduction

Wabasha County Attorney Matthew Stinson has appealed the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners’ decision to reduce the salary for his position.

On Nov. 19, the board voted 3-2 to reduce Stinson’s salary from $130,900 to $110,000, with commissioners citing alleged shortcomings in Stinson’s performance in the role.
