County GOP board member resigns after ‘vitriolic’ Facebook post

Controversy caused by a post on the Wabasha County Republican Facebook Page has led to the resignation of a member of the local party’s board and the removal of its Facebook page.

The post was an image of two men who appear to be at a Nazi concentration camp. One is wearing a military uniform with a swastika armband. The other has a Star of David on his shirt. Above the photo was the text “Just put on the star and quit complaining. It’s really not that hard.” Below it was the text “Just put on the mask and stop complaining.”
