County to look at selling land
Land Use Management Director Lisa Hanni told the county commissioners at the May 17 meeting that Ken Burns and his wife Crystal want to purchase county property on Lake Byllesby between their property and the lake.
Landowners in the area have signed a petition requesting that the couple and other neighbors be allowed to purchase three acres from the county.
Hanni said the area has had a lot of land title issues in the past. In 1998 a border commission was formed. Prior to its formation, people were occupying land that they did not own.
