COVID-19 exposure reported at Lake City care center
The care center at Mayo Clinic Health System in Lake City has made its first appearance on a list of congregate care facilities in the state with a reported COVID-19 exposure.
The Minnesota Department of Health lists facilities with 10 or more residents that report “an exposure from a case of COVID-19 in a resident, staff person, or visiting provider.”
Mayo Clinic Health System didn’t provide specifics on the exposure but did issue the following statement:
“The Lake City Care Center takes resident and staff safety seriously.
