Crash into home leads to arrest, charges

A Wisconsin man is facing charges after allegedly crashing a vehicle into a home in Lake City.

“This incident happened Friday (Nov. 12) evening at about 8 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a vehicle that crashed into a house at 220 S. 6th St. Fire and ambulance crews were also dispatched to the scene. When officers arrived they found that a passenger car had driven into the front porch of that residence,” according to Lake City Police Sgt. Bill Weist.
