Crossing closes for water main repair

The railroad crossing at Lyon Avenue was closed Monday and Tuesday for repairs to a nearby water main.
According to Lake City Public Works Director Scott Jensen: “A citizen in the Peters subdivision contacted the city about a significant amount water coming out of a storm outlet when we had not had any recent rain.
