'Crush' will feature junk transformed

Lake City’s new event, the Sept. 12-13 Junk Crush, is old hat for one of its promoters.

Julie Grobe, owner of the Mill House Market, 111 E. Center St., has been in the junk business for 22 years.

She is helping to promote the September weekend which will include vendors of vintage, re-purposed and handmade merchandise along with wine tasting, grape crushing and cider pressing to celebrate the area’s growing wine business and traditional apple industry.
