Disappointment, unhappiness after Goodhue County approves levy hike

Goodhue County passed a $35,963,370 levy on Thursday, Dec. 6. This is an increase of $2,963,370 from 2018’s levy. Community members in the meeting were not happy.

Russ Foss of Kenyon told the board, “We’ve got to really think hard, gentlemen, about the money we’re spending, because somebody has to cough it up. And that is serious.”
