Election ends, count continues

Two races in Lake City were too close to call the morning after the Nov. 3 general election.
As of Wednesday morning, incumbent Mayor Mark Nichols led John Redmond by 69 votes.
In the city council race, Katie Novak was eight votes ahead of incumbent Jason DeVinny for the third and final open seat on the council.
