Ellingson, Moechnig come out on top in township elections

It was a mixed night for incumbents in contested races for area township officers.
In Florence Township, Joe Ellingson won a seat on the town board of supervisors with 141 votes, defeating incumbent Jan Bruce, who had 89 votes. Clerk Sue Eisenmenger ran unopposed for reelection and received 218 votes.
