Enger to retire

Lake City Public Schools Supt. Erick Enger plans to retire at the end of the current school year.
In an email Tuesday, Enger said he had announced his decision to school staff and planned to include it as an informational item on an upcoming school board agenda.
Enger came to the district in 2014 from the Zumbrota-Mazeppa School District, where he was a principal.
The school board used a search firm to find candidates for the job at that time.
