Federal-Mogul fined for air quality violations at Lake City plant

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) fined Federal-Mogul Powertrain in Lake City $8,820 for air quality violations.
The fine appears on a list of 39 enforcement actions completed by the MPCA in the third quarter of this year released on Oct. 18.
Fines on the list total over $209,000 and range from $32,485 (Ardent Mills in Hastings, also for air quality) to $350 (Bruce Nagel of Stewartville, for solid waste violations).
