Firetruck, beach access among council's capital considerations

City Finance Director Amy Hove outlined proposed budget changes and adjustments to the city’s capital budget at a Lake City City Council workshop meeting as the council works toward a December vote on a final property tax levy for 2019.

The council set a preliminary levy in September that is a 3.58 percent increase over 2018. The council can shrink but not grow the final approved levy.
