First group completes Youth Skills Training Program at Hearth and Home

Four students from Red Wing High School have completed a program that brought them to Hearth and Home Technologies in Lake City to learn about several aspects of plant operations.

They were the first cohort of the Youth Skills Training Program, a collaboration between Red Wing Ignite, school districts in Goodhue County, the Goodhue County Education District, Minnesota State College Southeast and local employers, according to Brian English, member and community relations manager for Hearth and Home Technologies in Lake City.
