Flood run rolls through town this weekend

Motorists will need to use extra caution this weekend along the Mississippi and St. Croix River valleys as thousands of riders take to the road for the Fall Flood Run. As many as 30,000 motorcyclists will be riding between the Twin Cities and Winona on Saturday, Sept. 19.

It’s been a deadly year for motorcyclists, and rider deaths have already surpassed number of fatalities in 2014. According to preliminary reports, 51 motorcyclists have died on Minnesota roads. There were 46 rider deaths in 2014.
