Forward Bank’s large contribution brings scoreboard project closer to fruition

An effort to replace aging scoreboards at Lincoln High School’s varsity athletic facilities got a big boost recently.

On Jan. 30, Forward Bank committed $100,000, becoming a “super anchor” supporter twice over (see related story).

The project will replace scoreboards at four varsity athletic facilities: the baseball and softball fields at Bluff View Elementary School, the football field, and the Lincoln High School gymnasium. In addition, a video board will be installed on the wall opposite the scoreboard in the gymnasium.
