General election is Tuesday

The 2020 general election is less than a week away. Voters who haven’t already will be able to cast their ballots at polling places around the area.

On Tuesday, a week before the election, absentee voting in Lake City was up over 50 percent over 2016. According to Wabasha County and Goodhue County, 969 absentee ballots had been accepted, versus just 602 in 2016.

Minnesota residents can find their polling place on the Secretary of State’s website: pollfinder.sos.state.mn.us.
