Goihl to chair Wabasha County Board
In action taken by the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners at the opening of the first meeting of 2018 on Jan. 2, Brian Goihl was unanimously elected chair of the county board for 2018. Donald Springer was elected vice chair. There were no other nominations.
All Commissioners were present, along with County Administrator Michael Plante and County Attorney Karrie Kelly.
At the top of the action agenda was a visit from State Rep. Steve Drazkowski, State Rep. Barb Haley, and State Sen. Michael Goggin.
